they fit my 94 honda del sol perfectly. no problem installing, they worked fantastically and were strong. as for length of life, i have no idea how long they'll last but they were really great. also, you have to lift the trunk just slightly before the shocks kick in and lift it for you. easy to get used to, and not really a hassle whatsoever. totally recommend.

Not exactly like the OEM units.
These lift cylinders did not lift my Del Sol trunk lid open the first inch so you could easily lift it open with your finger like the OEM units.
