I ordered 4 of these to try in our recently renovated backyard garden amongst our trees, flowers, and statuary. I tried staking them into the ground but the plastic stakes just bent so I took the stake off and just sat them on top of the mulch. Even with the torrential storms, we have had they didn't budge. We loved them so much I immediately ordered 4 more and once they arrived we decided we need another 4. Along with 2 lanterns outside, they have totally transformed our backyard. We love looking out the windows at night and seeing the beautiful glow of these lights. You simply cannot go wrong buying these. They are so beautiful! Update #2. I replaced the batteries in all 12 lights. 5 of them are still working but the rest all died within 1-2 days. I don't have high hopes that these will make it either. I would not buy again. They are not waterproof. If you live in super hot climates like we do in Texas apparently the heat can crack the lens and once that happens water will get into the unit. The unit is toast at that point. I love the look of the lights so I will look for some others to replace them with but I wouldn't recommend these again. I couldn't figure out how to reach the company but I did go through Amazon and I have to say their customer service is worth 5+ stars.

I bought 4 of these a few months ago to see how they would hold up while lining my driveway. They definitely are bright for the first few months but eventually they dimmed out. Unless you replace the batteries they eventually will not be as bright as when they first came out the box. I did like how they were easy to set down and forget it. I just lay them right on the ground and they withstood the weather and even a few times i ran them over and they survived my minivan tires. They charge right up and turn on automatically at night and stay on most of the night so we can see our way doing to the garage. I bough a second set to replace the last 4 because i wanted brighter lights.

Third update: I received a replacement light from the seller (took several weeks because it was mailed from China). They have emailed several times to ask if I received it, and to ask me to update this review. I'm annoyed by how many times I was asked about my review. Their customer service was effective in terms of issuing me a replacement, but incredibly irritating with all the review questions. I do love the look of these lights but am subtracting a star for a frustrating experience.Second update: now one of the lights no longer works. I’m disappointed. I really wanted to like this product but overall they just seem cheaply made.In general I really like this product. I will be contacting the seller for a couple of issues, however.They light up very bright and I love the look of them. Two problems have popped up since I put them in the ground, however-1. We had three straight cloudy, rainy days and by the third day they were really struggling to come on at all. Just be aware that they may not be as bright if you have a string of bad weather.2. My mailman stepped on one of them and managed to break off one of the four little pegs on the ground spike. I would love to replace it. I’m a bit disappointed that they are this fragile so just know that they are not to be stepped on. The light itself seems to be fine.If I can get this spike replaced, I would update the review.UPDATE: The seller contacted me very quickly after I sent them a message and they are replacing the light which was damaged. I am extremely happy with their excellent customer service and would not hesitate to buy this product again. I am really happy with how the lights look, they are the best looking product for the lawn I have purchased for a reasonable price.

The product over all is very exciting. The sleek silver brushed aluminum and look is this a classic and classy addition to the bistro tables we have in our sitting area. While this is an ambience light. It's perfect for, a candlelight affect, on our tables. In the pictures you'll see several different arrangements of these lights. I have a set illuminating the background tarp to give you an idea of the brightness from about 50 feet.My only disappointment is in the description. Every other solar light, not from this company, advertises how many lights the price listed encompasses. This company, being deceptive or not, list how many LEDs are in each particular light. This gives the impression that for $26, you're getting eight lights, when actually you're only getting four lights.Why I am elated at the look I would've never spent this much money on a small, solar light. This comes out to approximately 650 light. There certainly much better deals is $6.50 a light for this level of lighting.In any case is not worth the hassle to send them back. So here's the breakdown:for price to value I get them one starfour look of the device I get them five starsfor ease of use and assembly I get them five stars.Overall this would've been a four dollar light this would've been a five-star review and then I'm just taking away one star for the deceptive advertising. The downside and I have to order for more the decision I have to make will be for more these.

These 8 LED lights are quite bright which is what I was looking for. Very easy to install. I placed these in my front lawn edge and even though the sprinklers are on every other day, these are still bright and go on solid at sunset and remain on until sunrise. I did have an issue that was resolved immediately by the seller. Two of the lights (4/pack) came with a cracked lens causing a leak and destroying the lights. But the seller was fast to replace these without any additional cost to me. I will be ordering these again as I have a few more spots in which these can be used. I do recommend these lights as they are great for the price.
