I hesitated, having read reviews about the straps. You certainly need to be careful with the straps connection to the tank - it can easily separate and fall, but I think that's deliberate, as it is VERY heavy when full and difficult to put on your back.Also, if there is still pressure when done, opening the loading entry doesn't release the pressure. The only way I found to release pressure was to spray the liquid back in (as if adding liquid).But it does a very good job spraying, with multiple heads, and extendable wand.

For decades I've carried a 2 gal. sprayer around for weed killing at my 4 acre church property. Results: Sore shoulder and back, need for multiple refills and constant bending over to pump. @ 70+ years, I don't need any of this. This backpack sprayer is SUPERB. Wand is 3'+ long. I'm 6'2", ergo, the wand length is great. (I had to extend the 18" wand on my old 2 gal. sprayer in order to not have to bend over constantly to get close to weeds). This sprayer holds twice as much as my old one, = half the trips AND FOOTSTEPS to refill. A major plus, the extendable wand is brass, not plastic or easily-corroded aluminum. Outside of a small leak at the connection between the wand and the trigger mechanism, easily fixed w/ teflon tape, the sprayer arrived in great condition. Couldn't be more delighted with this purchase!

I have had the opportunity to use it several times in the few weeks since purchase. We have a flea problem that requires multiple applications. I have tried two of the nozzles. I like how it disperses. I like how it carries. I like the positioning of the pump handle. I like that because of the more even dispersal by the nozzles I can do my medium-sized cape with a finished basement and semi-finished upper level and still have 25% left. Using the two-gallon sprayer I have now relegated to spot-sanitization and disinfection I barely finished after two fillings. The seals are solid. There are no leaks. The weight when full may be an issue to some, but it is not due to the weight of the tank.MY COMPLAINT is that I have yet to use the brass fixture, because it arrived bent with a severe dent that could lead to a leak. I am only using the plastic fixture, which is of durable quality that I expect many years of service. This is why it loses one star. If I am able to replace it I would give it the full 5-stars the manufacturer deserves.

This was a great sprayer UNTIL a split on the bottom stopped everything. We have only used it less than 5 times this summer so I was very disappointed with the quality. We tried everything trying to 'fix' the split, but once you pump it up, the split breaks thru. Maybe I got a lemon, so I would like to work with the manufacturer to see it they would be willing to send another maybe 1/2 the price. Hopefully, they monitor these reviews.Thanks,Ann Etheridge

I am a farmer and need multiple sprayers for different chemical products. I test sprayers using only water to check them for safety before use. Testing this sprayer with the plastic arm I found leaks at multiple locations along the spray tube, spray arm and at the nozzle. (The brass arm was leak free but is only good for an ultra fine mist). Leaks were not due to my assembly of the plastic spray arm but the sprayer parts themselves. There are many unnecessary articulating parts on the plastic spray arm which do not seal and leak. I modified the plastic arm to stop the leaks and get this sprayer to work properly. I fixed most of the leaks with teflon tape but I had to use spare sprayer parts which I keep on hand from older sprayers which I doubt you have. I also eliminated many of the supplied parts which are not needed and leaky and replaced the supplied plastic tip with a better spare sprayer tip that allows from a fine mist to a full stream. Once this was completed I put the sprayer to work. In the field the pump handle repeatedly came off. This is annoying but it can be secured to the spray arm with construction adhesive. Also, note that the shoulder straps they are thin will bite into your shoulders.

The prayer works very well. But there are serious design flues with the connections on the stripes. We ended up sowing them in place. You send a little less on this model but you might have to do some adjustments on your own. :-)

I've been using this sprayer for a couple of weeks now and it works Great!! With the adjustable spray and angle of the wand it's easy to get around the plant base. Love It!!!

Very nice sprayer but don’t fill it up. It gets heavy if you do. That aside it is great and easy to use

Having used several backpacks in the past, the shoulder straps need padding. When the sprayer is full the straps dug into my shoulders in just a few minutes. I would have gladly paid an extra few bucks to have padded straps.That said, the extra nozzles and o-ring parts are a nice addition.

Pressure is not strong enough to remove heavy mud/dirt, but still a quick wipe then spray with this does the job.
