Q: There is a zippered compartment on the front of the bag but it has a loop over it so the zipper will not go up and down. How can I use this compartme?

I have the same question. (For those wondering which compartment this refers to, it’s the one on the front which has the brand name on it; it has a vertical zipper.) I have found that you can thread the zipper pull through the loop (takes a bit of maneuvering) to open the compartment. You can then quickly access the pocket if you leave the pull below the loop, or “lock” it by threading the pull back up through the loop. I guess the choice depends on your need for quick access—or not—to the pocket contents.
