This is a great starter set for someone looking to get into Knitting! It contains many diameters of needles and the nice bits and bobs one needs for starting out.My one complaint is that the needles all look identical, save for tiny engraving. The first thing I did was take a handful of bottles of nail polish to color code the heads of the pairs! After that, it was perfect!Bamboo is arguably the best needle to learn on. I'd make a strong case for it in terms of being snag-free, blunt-tipped enough to not split yarn while still maintaining a shape, and being just flexible enough to make tight stitches possible. It remains, after around fifteen years, my needle material of choice.

My kit arrived on time, and everything pictured was included, and in good shape. I love the fact that for about 2.00 more than just a case, you get all of the needles, hooks, and supplies inside! It's an incredible value. I've used several of the needles, and they are smooth, and don't snag the yarn. I typically only use larger needles, so I purchased a set of just the needles, and put both large sets inside this case. There's plenty of room in the case for any extras you may want to put in there. Definitely would buy again!

I'm a beginner. I would recommend buying knitting tools that are slicker. These sticks are rough. Impossible to use with typical yarn. The rest of the crochet stuff is good.

Doesn’t include crochet needles above 4mm. Maybe good for knitting but not enough larger size needles for beginning crocheters

I decided after 25 years it would best to learn how to knit or crochet & with this set I was able to take the time & teach myself both. I was so excited I went on a sore and bought a few sets of circular needles & this case has enough space to carry all of my items... Best purchase I’ve had online in a while

Everything has its own place the carrying case is really nice because it's made out of like a jean material kind of feels like you can also add more to it if you wanted to very happy with this purchase

I am a beginner, and had bought both plastic (on clearance) needles and one set of metal needles at a local craft store. My mom had suggested bamboo. Singly, they can be expensive, so I tried this set. I love the feel of bamboo needles the best, although a couple of the needles are a little bent - it doesn't affect the knitting, though. I love having all of the tools, too!

Not at all what I expected. The crochet hooks are all rusted. Extremely disappointed with product.
