Had this installed on a catless straight pipe and it made my car drone way less and less rasp! Definitely might get a second one to lower the noise a notch. It's tiny but does work

Researching sounds for exhaust can be difficult because each car/motor/setup will produce a different tone and experience. The quality of these are nice. However, using the “racing” term to describe the tone of these guys would be a far stretch. I have a 68 Ford 302 with long tube headers and these mounted roughly 2ft before side exhaust tips. They don’t sound like the “race” cars I work with and around. They are mildly “aggressive” at best and are somewhat, tame. They will provide a nice pop or rasp upon decel every now and then. I’d say they are 20-30% quieter than open headers. I feel pleased. They do rip at some moments. While not waking the neighbors. They will crackle and excite you but not always. I’d really give them a 7/10 for daily use. I’m happy, but left wanting a bit more.

They look good and sound good. But did show up not cut square on ends. So I had to true them up.

I have a 2006 Mini Cooper S with a full Milltek exhaust system. Issue - At WOT 4000 RPM and up the drone was too much. Looking for an additional resonator, I had to go with one that fit. It being a race resonator, my guess is that the driver would want a resonated sound reduction at 4K and up. This 10" Total Flow worked. Now 4k and up is bearable. Mini specific - With a Milltek cat-back, this resonator replaces the link pipe without mod. The reason that I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5, is there are no RPM or sound or frequency numbers that the resonator is tuned to or for. I'm glad an educated guess worked.

I bought a 2018 Mustang GT with active exhaust, which sounded pretty good as is. But I wanted more of an old school muscle sound so I replaced the factory resonator with an h-pipe. Thay lowered the tone but made it a bit too loud for my taste and was raspy in the higher rpms. I bought 2 of these "mufflers" and put them in the middle of my h-pipe and I have finally achieved my perfect exhaust note. It brought it down a little deeper, took the volume down a smidge, and no more high end raspe. And with 304 steel I won't have to worry about them rusting out.One thing to note, one end is slightly larger than the other. I could fit one end perfectly over my 2.5 pipe, but the other end I had to butt up. No big deal but would have been way easier and more air tight sliding both ends together.

The media could not be loaded.  Installed this on a 2001 E46 with headers and a custom dual exhaust. This was perfect to get rid of the exhaust drone at highway speeds and lower the noise a bit during start up and at idle but still gives you plenty of noise when you step on the throttle. Absolutely love it. Will use again and highly recommend.

I am running two of these on my engine swap to an inline six diesel. Before It was a dual in to a dual out muffler to a Y pipe. The stock muffler was gigantic and heavy. I installed these in its place and joined up to the Y pipe and shaved 25 Lbs of weight off the truck and they silence almost as good with a nice grumble at idle. No drone in my case... They are made very nice, you cannot beat the price either.

Had a 3” turbo back straight pipe on my genesis and it was just a little bit too loud and not in a good way. The short little 3” in 3” out I bought quieted her down just enough and added a much nicer tone. Good product quality at a reasonable price.

Use for quiet down my exhaust. Didn’t do much. Still loud.
