Worth a try for IBS type Symptoms which are perhaps caused by a bacteria imbalance
I will try to be as detailed as possible when writing this review. This is because I have always said that I would share anything that I feel has helped me out and maybe if you have similar symptoms to me this could be of use to you as well. As such, some of the details may be a bit graphic so you have been warned!I've had IBS for about half my life; I am now 30. Originally my main symptoms were loose stools, urgency, wind and sometimes diarrhea. I've always been able to cope with my IBS and lead a fairly normal life, but nonetheless have tried various things along the way to try and make it better. One such thing I tried about 20 months ago was an Antibiotic called Xifaxan (rifaximin). You may have heard of this in the treatment of IBS or small bacteria overgrowth in the small intestine. I thought I might as well try this as I have taken antibiotics before with no long term problems. This was possibly one of the biggest mistakes of my life and I wish I had never taken Xifaxan. In fact I implore anyone who is thinking about taking an antibiotic such as this to think again as it pretty much ruined my life for about 18 months and I only took a relatively short 7 day course. After I took the Xifaxan my loose stools, urgency and wind became worse. But in addition and perhaps worse of all I was left with severe bloating and what seemed to be a constant, heavy bowel ache. This was almost a feeling of wanting to go to the toilet on a constant basis but not actually going to the toilet. I will say though that my episodes of diarrhea did not worsen and were perhaps better.Over the next year or so I literally tried every probiotic under the sun in a desperate attempt to restore my normal bowel flora as I felt that the Xifaxan must have destroyed the flora within my bowel. Some big name probiotics that I tried which you have probably heard of if you have done research into treating IBS include VSL3, Symprove, Biokult and Probio 7, plus many many others. None of these had any effect whatsoever. (That said, I know friends who have had success with other probiotics so I guess the moral is to keep trying different ones until you find the probiotic that helps you.)After having practically given up and almost resigning myself to the fact that I would have to live like this, I came across this product which I thought might be slightly different given that it is a yeast probiotic. Now it may have just been a placebo or a coincidence that the effects of the antibiotic had finally worn off, but about 5-7 days after starting taking this product I was feeling much better. I would say that since I have been taking this product my symptoms which I believe were caused by the antibiotic were 50-75% better. I am certainly in less pain and my bloating has substantially decreased.I have been taking this product for over a month now. My routine is one pill before breakfast and one pill before dinner in the evening everyday. Apparently this product does not stay in your system so you have to keep taking it to maintain its effect. I have actually been too scared to stop taking it to see if my symptoms come back! So who knows, maybe I will be taking it for the rest of my life.So in short I would say this product is definitely worth a go if you have similar symptoms to me. If you have the same reaction as I did you should know within a week or so if this product is helping you. A 90 pill bottle will last you a month and a half if you have 2 a day, so for the asking price it is worth a punt at least.A couple of final things I would note is that firstly be careful to check the expiry date of the product. After buying my first bottle, I bought a second from a different trader which was past its expiry date. I've heard that the effectiveness of things such as probiotics are very dependent on their freshness, so be sure to get a product with as long an expiry date as possible. The product does say though that it is room temperature stable but will last longer in the fridge, so I tend to keep my bottle in the fridge.Secondly, I believe this product has the same yeast probiotic as another brand called florastor. Unfortunately florastor is not available in the UK but perhaps if you are trying to get hold of it this would be a decent alternative. I believe it is also substantially cheaper as well.Hopefully I have covered everything but please feel free to let me know if you have any questions about my experience and this product and I will respond as best I can.

A Miracle Worker In A Bottle
I have used this product in the past for overcoming a Candida problem and I must say I did not find it helped that much. Took two tablets in the morning and two at night. After the bottle was finished I did not order another, as it was expensive and there was no noticeable difference.Jump forward 2 years. I was given a VERY strong regime of anti biotics to resolve a post nasal/throat infection, which had been causing misery for months. Stupid me took some pro biotics, but not enough to counter balance the effects of the anti biotic tablets. We flew to Germany, 2 days later finished the course and about 3 days after this developed the most incredible stomach problem I have ever experienced. I do not want to go into too much detail, but I had two weeks of severe pain in the intestine, bloating, acid reflux and the worst tummy problems you could imagine.I initially reached for Immodium, but it had zero effect. I have never had this happen before. I tried Buscopan and this had no effect on the pain. For two weeks it was as if I was suffering from the worst type of food poisoning imaginable. I then went into a Chemist here in Germany and they prescribed Perenterol which is Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It initially helped, but it was so expensive 12 Euro for 10 tablets, that I could only take 2 a day. The bottle ran out and symptoms returned. At this point I did an internet search and up came this product. I read about the differences between the two strains and realised that the Perenterol could have been making the Candida worse but the Saccharomyces Boulardii would not and it was better designed for my problem. I ordered them from Amazon.de and they arrived 2 days later. It was now day 16 of the problem. Nothing had helped so far. I took 4 tablets and things got worse. A few hours later I took another 4 and again things would not calm down. Having read how this product works, it seemed logical that things would get worse before they got better, as it does not block the problem but in essence repopulates the gut and gets rid of the toxins. After more tablets and 12 hours, things improved quite a bit. 24 hours after starting with a very high dose, the stomach had calmed down and what was coming out had diminished. 48 hours later all symptoms had gone bar a little gas and I felt fine. Almost 3 weeks of hell, solved in 2 days of taking this product. I felt so ill so I did take a high dose, but it worked. I took no other tablet bar some probiotics, which I was taking anyway. For me this is a miracle worker against extreme stomach issues. The more I read about this amazing yeast, the more I am convinced everyone should have some when abroad, just in case they get stomach problems. Nothing worked apart from this. I am happy to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product for anti biotic induced stomach issues and upset stomach's.
