Lighter works great but took a little getting use to the design.

For starters the lighter does not adjust well. It spits and sputters high quality gas with un-predictable flame height. The gas does not always shut off when the lid is closed. The second time I tried to light this lighter the flame came out from the striker wheel and around the top housing rather than the flame nozzle area. Then the lighter stopped striking because the flint literally crumbled. It does come with 6 extra flints though. This is the most difficult flint to change. I lost 3 trying to get one in the location. Then the screw that holds the spring and flint in cross threaded just slightly and when i attempted to back it out the screw literally broke in half. Turns out its a hollow screw or maybe a manufacturing defect. The blue light is cool and it is about the only thing on this lighter that does work right. Depending on what seller chooses to do, if I receive a replacement lighter that works as it should then I will update my review to reflect the difference in case i just received a defective one.

I only used it a hand full of times before it broke. The whole top fell off and all the butane leaked out. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t have it going for long at all. Cool lighter but didn’t hold up at all..

This is a great buy for someone who is careful with their lighters, but unfortunately it is not drop proof as the very first time I dropped it, the top disconnected and made the gas constantly leak out, ruining the lighter completely. When it was functional I was very happy with the feel, the flame, the look, the ease of use, the light, all of it. The price was also phenomenal. I gave 4 stars just for the quality since I'm my experience even a gas station lighter can take a couple falls, but over all it performs well and is worth the price.

Love this lighter, so far! Definitely the smartest idea for a lighter I have seen, because of all the torches that I have bought with electric spark have all died. I got a feeling this one that uses flint instead of an electric spark will work a lot longer hopefully! Will update if anything happens!

Poorly made. The light on it went out the first week I had it and it wasn’t properly assembled so I won’t use it. And God forbid I should drop it while it’s lit.. once the lid is open, it’s spewing gas and it’s gonna stay lit until the lid is closed. This lighter is unsafe and I won’t use it. I’d intended to return it but I missed the cutoff date.

I was looking for a unique idea in a lighter and this struck my fancy so I purchased it. First of all, if you don't have jewelers tools, good luck inserting a flint. Fat fingers not welcome. Secondly, it doesn't work. After filling, I let it set for awhile as the instructions suggested. Then I tried lighting it. No luck. I started tinkering with the butane flow thinking it might be too strong. Again, you'll need jewelers tools or a very small, thin screwdriver to do this. Many flicks later, and a new callous on my thumb, still no ignition. I can hear the butane coming out, but the flints do not create much spark. Maybe Zippo flints might work better. When you do get some spark, still no ignition. Nice price point, but sometimes you do get what you pay for. Zippo is much easier to use all the way around, and fat fingers are welcome:)

I've owned it so far about a week it's been used daily, Constantly to light my Tobacco water pipe.I have yet to change the flint but it's coming real soon, And the window feature is a added bonus.It's easy to refill with the nozzle that is the base of every Butane refillable canister.So you don't have to look for which nozzle works best.I bought the Gray one, "Grey".It works for me.
