Osmo 006 Bangkirai Decking & Furniture Oil Wood Oil. Protects, Maintains & Beautifies. 2.5 Litres

Having used Osmo's oil product for interior use and being very satisfied with the results I had no hesitation in buying the Bangkirai Furniture Oil to renovate and protect my outdoor bench and table. After 3 coats the furniture looks like new and I am delighted with the finish. Of course, time will tell if the furniture stands up to weathering but I am optimistic. I have previously used stain then yacht varnish on other wooden outdoor furniture but realise it was a mistake and trying to remove the varnish which was flaking in places was a nightmare. This product is not cheap but it works a treat.

Easy to apply and went a long long way looks great

Easy to apply by brush and the Osmo deck brush is excellent. Appears to soak in quite well and gives a nice colour, very close to original colour of the wood when first installed, perhaps could have gone a little darker, will have to see how long it lasts as typically on the yellow balau hardwood deck, oils haven't held up well and clear oils did not restore the original colour hence tried the stain. Product is expensive so hopefully paid for quality. First coat coverage was low but 2nd coat was better. I would recommend getting the samples and test so you are happy with the stain.

Really brings the best out of the wood

Good product which works well on Yellow Balau, however, if you like the natural look of the hard wood, don’t use this product as it stains the wood and it looks like composite decking once done, choose the clear variant for a nicer natural finish. The protective properties are fantastic though.

This is a very high pigment Oil, more like paint. On application it turned my beautiful new Balau Hardwood Deck into cheap looking orange painted planks (like the previous comments pictures). Luckily I'd only applied this to the under sides of the Deck so could hide the ugly finish. I've had to bin the rest of this very expensive Oil.

Ich benutze dieses Öl immer im Frühjahr, es scheint zu funktionieren, das Bankirai ist 17 alt, nicht überdacht und hält mit dieser Minimalpflege ( vorher kärchern) gut. Preis ist dafür okay.

Utilisée pour une terrasse en bois exotique, cette huile protège bien le bois et garde une belle couleur au bois.... je fais une à deux applications par an...printemps, automne.

Ich habe meine neue Bangkirai-Terrasse jetzt einmal damit gestrichen. Die Farben wirken jetzt viel satter und das Holz scheint entspannter. Zur Langzeitwirkung kann ich leider noch nichts sagen. Das Produkt ist sehr dünnflüssig und lässt sich super streichen. Für 14 Quadratmeter habe ich ca. 1,1 Liter verbraucht.

Juste comme il faut

Super Öl, sehr ergiebig. Lässt sich hervorragend mit einem Pinsel+Lappen verteilen. Kaufe ich beim nächsten mal wieder🤗.
