I’m restoring a 1963 Mini and tried several well known products but this paint is far superior, I’m trying to save as many rusty parts as possible, this handbrake was very rusty and pitted, with 2 coats of Polar it looks great, the paint comes out quite thick and settles while drying, filling in all but the worst rust pitting, the satin finish is a good match with factory paint. Will definitely buy again.

This paint goes on easily and gives a decent coverage. I used some of this paint on some garden furniture that was starting to show it's age. Not only did it give life back to the furniture it has lasted 18 months of outdoor use and it doesn't get covered over winter. I am very impressed.On a previous purchace I had an issue with a can not spraying correctly, so I contacted Polar and they got straight back to me and replaced the can which was delivered the next day. That is excellent customer service in my book.I have to say that I have bought from "Polar" before so these comments are over several purchases.I am more than satisfied with their products and customer service. I will keep on coming back.

Colour still works very well for my project but more towards the colour of grey primer than the colour on the label swatch suggests.

I used this on a metal plant stand that was dull and rusted. After two coats it looked like new. It has since been out in the rain and still kept its shine. Easy to use great product

After reading the other reviews on this paint, I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. I was using it to paint a metal bar on a second hand bike rack that i have acquired. The bar i was going to spray was grey and had some aged scratches to the existing paint. After rubbing the bar down to ensure that it was suitably prep'd, I made sure that I shook the can for several minutes prior to attempting to paint. I did this as there was a review on the paint splattering and then not being able to spray out. After a few minutes, I began to spray and found it gave good coverage in the light coats I desired. I did notice that after a few seconds, the paint spray would begin to slow and therefore I stopped and shook for a further minute or so. I found after a couple of times doing this that between spraying and painting, it was also worthwhile clearing the spray nozzle as you would at the finish of using it (invert and spray until clear). This helped massively to obtain a clean spray after shaking and i would recommend doing this.All in all, I am pleased with the results that I have achieved in using this product. I was originally looking for hammerite smooth and although I have no comparison, this was a good product that does what I need. Time will tell if it lasts in the weather that it may be subjected to at the bar of our van, but i applied a decent number of coats to give it a fighting chance.

I found it ok, the tins sprayed continuously and was ok. However, the coverage was not as smooth as I would have liked. In the end I have just go with it.

I had chrome bathroom furniture had gone dull and rusty. Two coats totally renovated them

Not excatly the same anthracite colour as the item I was spraying so not a good colour match. RAL spec would have been handy. Easy to use and apply. Not tested durability yet.

One of the paint cans was not fully charged and ran out of pressure and stopped spraying with 1/2 the paint remaining in the can. This product does not allow returns or replacement of defective item.I do not wish to change paint products in the middle of the project so I am forced to buy another set.I hope these are fully charged.I do like the paint though. Applies and covers well. Dries quickly.Update:The seller has reached out to me and has refunded my purchase.Way to go! They have taken an unfortunate situation and made it right.Thank you and Kudos!The replacement paint has arrived. Finishing the job tomorrow.I am updating the overall rating to very satisfied.
