Rust developed and needed additional seasoning.
First time I used it rust developed mostly on lid even though I dried immediately after washing. After washing again, applying oil, and an hour of seasoning in hot oven, the pot looks good and hopefully will not rust again. I love the size and the cast iron !

Nice pot, bad lid.
This is a cute little Dutch oven however the lid definitely has defects. You can see from the pics that the metals used to make the lid weren’t mixed well and it left an unfinished look. Aside from the lid, the pot itself is nice. I gave it 3 stars because of the lid, had the lid been in good shape, I would have given it a 5.
