Excellent product, gets the job done!

Great quality, Does everything.
Does everything. I've had this about a month and have already used it to start my V8 with a dead battery. I continue to use it as a maintainer for my 6 volt RV batteries in series at 12 volts. None of my batteries called for DeSulferization at this point so, I look forward to seeing how long this will extend the life of my batteries. I'm happy so far.

Well built with thick DC cables
A lot of cheap chargers use very thin DC cables that would not be able to handle the currents that they claim. While this charger is expensive, it works very well.Note that you cannot manually select "Desulfate," it only activates if the charger somehow believes it is necessary. The whole "desulfate" thing is pretty bogus anyway.

It really is ALMOST automatic.
My newer vehicles a 2017 Murano and a 2019 KIA Soul never stop using battery power. OFF on these vehicles still means ON as a slow battery drain. The Murano if not driven in two weeks will have a dead battery. The Schumacher 1307 is a great charger. Except for setting the battery type, the charger does the rest. It will boost, then trickle charge, then flash a green indicator light saying the battery is fully charged. It does not make the 60 cycle buzz older chargers make. I'm very happy with the charger.

It is okay but..
The brackets on the back that are supposed to hold the cord are very flimsy and fall out of the holes making the bracket totally a waste. Design engineer should be fired.

Do not purchase!
Had for a little over a month and stopped working. Waste of money!
