This item looked good, what i expected
This item looked good, what i expected. However, when I opened the package, the handle was broken. I believe the USP person who delivered just threw the package over the fence and the heaviness of this item made the handle crack off. If the person didn't know how to open the door, I expect a notification of attempt delivery instead of just throwing an item over a fence. I Gave it a 4 stars because of the delivery service and because of the wait in order to get a new one, other than that, the product looks good. I got a refund and I might buy the same product again or choose another.

I am on the fence with this item
I must admit off the bat that I could have caused the damage on this item. I removed the coating with a sander and went through a 3 step process of reapplying the coating. I think, after the first phases, I noted a crack in the upper right hand corder going to approximately midline. Part of the process is heating the item on the stove. I noticed the crack after heating it for the first time. That being said, it is a beautiful griddle. It fits perfect and serves the purpose that I intended which is to make keto friendly tortillas and eggs.

Love the item
Love the item, especially for the price. It was a gift for my husband who loves to cook. His only complaint was that it wasn’t “seasoned” properly.I’m not even really sure what that means, but he said it after the Dutch oven rusted inside. It happened after his first time using it. It was no big deal. He properly treated it w heat & oil and hasn’t had any issues since.

Treated with care, chipped in just under a year
Have used this pot pretty heavily. But it’s been religiously cared for - no soap, no acidic liquids & seasoned regularly. Has functioned we’ll but just noticed a chip this week, which is a shame as this is the pot’s “heavy season”. Reasonable cost so I don’t feel shafted. Not sure if the wear I’m seeing is what other users are seeing. But I’d still give it 4/5 stars!

The best thing I have purchased in a long time.
I love the size for two Or more people, the flip panini side, the pre-seasoning was great. It heats evenly for everything, and the lid can also be used as a bacon press.

Good product
Purchased as a gift. The recipient is an excellent cook. He loved this grill press. He stated it gets very hot and makes excellent panini sandwiches. He has used this item as a grill press and as a griddle. He stated this grill press was ready to go when he received it (pre-seasoned). Worth five stars.

Heavy!!
Only used this pan once. Too heavy! It's a sturdy pan and I gave it a 5 because it may not be considered heavy to another person.

Have used the grill for meat, vegetables and tofu and all were well-cooked and the meat had a nice char after using the press. The press handle did not get hot. I suggest seasoning even though the pan is pre-seasoned. It is so much easier to clean than the non-stick grill I used in the past.

Fantastic compact grill!
It is a perfect size for 4- burner gas stove (fits amazingly over largest burner) and elegant design for home use. Looks great on the stove or table. Just use a thick trivet or wooden cutting board when putting a hot grill in the table.Very thoughtful and smart design. Nice high ribbing that allows fat to drain for leaner meat, big plus in my behalf. But if you want juicy fatty meat then just use flat non-rubbed side - it has tall enough edges not to drip meat juice and fat onto your stove.For those who complained about it smoking up the house - LEARN about cookware you’re using. HEAT UP SLOWLY, don’t leave unattended and use stove’s fan - all cast iron cookware smokes a little WHEN HOT AND OILED. If don’t like it - cook outside on the BBQ.DON’T FORGET TO DRY COMPLETELY, IMMEDIATELY AFTER WASH and apply thing oil coating with non-fluffy cloth before storing away.It’s a great little grill and i would highly recommended to all savvy home-cooks who love their traditional cookware and looking after it.AlPS the grill press/lid is ribbed on its inner side. It fits the base perfectly as it is slightly smaller in size ( top and bottom ribs/grooves click into each perfectly, just make sure they follow same direction)

Very disappointed
This is garbage! We bought one that cracked immediately when we warmed it up for the first time! We ordered a replacement because we liked the style and design and the replacement was warped beyond belief! It will be returned an I will not be ordering a replacement

Disappointed
Not impressed, creates too much smoke when grilling. If the manufacturer would provide some tips on lessening the smoke my rating might be higher. That being said it is built well just not great for I door use.

I didn't know you could get something like this! It fits on my gas range perfectly. Can hardly wait to try out the possibilities

A Nightmare
This was a disastrous purchase. Did not act at all like it was preseasoned. The pancake batter cooked into the finish....a nightmare to clean.
