I have been looking for this cup for a while and there were many comments stating fear over lead in the paint, i purchased a lead detection kit and no lead was found as far as i can tell this cup is perfectly safe

I feel like a king in the castle with this cup. Seems to be good quality, nice weight, and looks amazing. Tea is still delicious from this cup.

I have tested an ali shan oolong sipped from this cup and sipped from a porcelain cup. The Jian Zhan sipped tea had more cooked cabbage notes, while the same tea sipped from the porcelain cup had more raw cabbage flavors. This tea cup is a great addition for tea lovers across the board. It can help you understand the complexities of tea and also offer you another way to enhance and individualize your tea drinking experiences! Gorgeous Yuan Jianzhan! Exactly what I was expecting! Looking forward to buying more in this series when they are available.Update: Now got the Song and Qing zhan. Both are stunning. Waiting for the Tang zhan to arrive.Update: Now we have four of them. Each piece is beautiful and unique. I am not sure if I will get the Ming zhan, as it seems to be a smaller version of the Song zhan.

Like all the other reviews say it is beautiful, but the cup was more metallic than the image shows and seeing that it's made in China I'm quite honestly scared to drink out of it for fear of the iron, I hadn't realized was contained in the glaze before purchase, might have traces of led or other dangerous impurities. I definitely should have done more research on this one, that's my bad and maybe I'll be able to find something that reliably confirmes the craftsmanship of the product but unfortunately for now I fear that the cup might only serve as a decorative piece around the house. Not likely to purchase again.

Very pretty! The sides of the cup are thick so it helps keep the tea warm. Beautiful glaze pattern. Would make a great gift for any tea lover. Remember it's relatively small, about a 6 ounce cup.

It was packaged well. The cup is nice and sturdy, shallow with a wide mouth, and bottom heavy on purpose. The glaze is quite beautiful, with lots of metallic patterns showing. I am not sure if it makes tea better tasting, but there is notable difference in flavor depending on tea, when the same tea in this cup and porcelain tea cup. I am sure it is also related to how tea flavors change when cooled down and other aspects as well.

Amazing customer service by seller. I had a small issue and they responded quickly and went above and beyond to help me. Plus the cup itself is just beautiful and of exceptional quality, with a gorgeous indigo blue glaze. It’s quite large for this style of cup, which I like. I also love the fact that it came in a nice box as well, which would make it perfect for gifting.

I wanted to try this and found the price to be reasonable, I almost expected cheap imitation, but no, seems legit, sturdy, heavy and good quality, I'm surprised at this find

半年以上使用してのレビューになります。毎日煎茶や紅茶を飲み、時にわざと残し色味を育ててきました。カメラの性能に由来し光って明るく見えますが、実物は落ち着いた黒味の深い茶碗です。手作りなので百花模様は唯一無二で愛着を持って付き合える品だと思います。サイズは直径9cm弱深さ3.5cm程度なので小ぶりです。欲を言えば、ワンサイズ上の直径11-12cmで深さ5-6cmであれば抹茶も点てられるかなと思います。
