comparison vs. OXO - OXO's design is better
Update (2017): After less than 1.5 yrs, the silicone has split and revealed the metal underneath. I didnt even use this daily! Maybe 2-3x a week at most. My OXO did the same thing, but i was able to eke out a few more years out of it. Return on investment? my money's on OXO.CONS:-silicone not as flexible as OXO, slightly stiffer and thicker-tapered "lip" still not as thin as OXO-metal handle slightly stiffer than OXO, not as conducive to stir frying-slightly narrower and smaller than OXO (for those of you who like larger spatulas)PROS-slightly narrower and smaller than OXO (for those of you who like smaller spatulas)Enough said.this is average and will suffice, but i still prefer my OXO

Best All Around Turner/Spatula Choice
Investing in a decent non-stick skillet requires the right utensils. Past experience has taught me "plastic" is out of the question as it has never failed to be a disappointment. High temp silicone is a wonderful material, but it doesn't lend itself easily as material for a useful spatula, it just doesn't have the "body" for the job. I looked at numerous examples that were in the store and online. Although I was not able to find an example of the Precision Kitchenware Spatula to examine, it did seem, from it's description to fit the bill of what I wanted more then any of those I examined. I ordered one and I am glad I did. This spatula actually has the "backbone" of a good metal spatula with all the qualities of high grade silicone. It is definitely not too large to be useful, yet it is large enough to do it's job. The front edge is curved to better mate a skillets side wall. What I really like, and this is not mentioned and you have to actually look to see it, is the top of the spatula is slightly concave which helps hold, or "scoop" whatever you slide under. It actually helps more then you might think. All of these things add up to one well thought out and designed utensil. Oh, least I forget, the term "Heavy Duty" definitely applies in comparison to all other spatulas of this type that I examined. The bottom line of a purchase like this is if you "feel good" after buying it. I hate junk, it's annoying. That said, when I get a tool does it's job well and holds up, it really does make me "feel good". I'm happy I took the time to choose this tool.

Can I go back in time and undo buying this thing?
After reading the good reviews, I decided to buy this, and I am totally disappointed by this product. The spatula is not wide enough for a lot of stir-frying/turning that I'm doing in the pan. The tip is too soft, making it hard to separate stuff in a pan (i.e. you've got two fried eggs, or some onion wedges that you want to separate). And I actually don't like the metal handle, because when I tapped the edge of my pan to get some garlic pieces that were on the spatula to fall in the pan, it chipped the edge of my non-stick pan.I wish I could go back in time and undo my decision to buy this thing.UPDATE: After this review, the company contacted me and gave me a refund. Full disclosure, they did not ask me to edit my review in any way, they did not even mention it. However, I thought that their nice customer service deserved mention. If you are unhappy with the product, at least the company will give you a refund. So, I originally gave it 2 stars but I am now adding a star for customer service.

TOO THICK for eggs
I don't know why everyone is in love with this spatula? It is too thick for delicate eggs, and that's why I bought it. It is made of metal, (including the flipper) with a very thick soft rubber like coating. You can see and feel the base metal inside the coating. Probably will work good cleaning cake batter, but it is not a cake spatula.I was looking for a thin rigid tool for eggs and pancakes, this is not it. Imagine an all stainless steel spatula a 1/4" thick! That's the beauty of all stainless steel spatulas, they are extremely thin, but we can't use them on Teflon. Note: some composite spatulas are as thin as 1/16" or less, this one is 1/4" thick.

You probably wouldn't buy this if you saw it in store
Pros+ Supposedly this wont melt? I never had a problem with that+ ? I really can't think on many, you wouldn't buy this if you saw it in store just from it's size, see below.Cons- The flipper is extremely narrow and small in general, this is fairly hard to use for eggs or pan cakes- The spatula is surprisingly heavy. It's very noticeable compared to any other spatula and you will notice it with larger meals- The material really doesn't clean up well. I normally just put my spatula in the dish washer but these always come out looking like they're covered with leftover food stuffs

Good customer service
I put the spatula in the dishwasher before the first use. It came out with this weird white discoloration on it and no matter what I do the white coating is always there, even after hand washing/scrubbing. Makes it look dirty even when it's clean. It does the work of a spatula though.Edit: I was sent another one to see if the first was defective but I had the same problem. The one on the left I hand washed and the one on the right I put through the dishwasher. It is nice as far a spatulas go but I'm just going to have to hand wash them. I added a star to the review for the great dedication to their product and customer satisfaction.

Works well for eggs in a nonstick skillet...
Arrived in mail yesterday. Used it this morning for omelettes and eggs. I thought that it might be too thick near the front edge to catch beneath the egg, but it's thin enough to slide right beneath even eggs easy over. It has just enough flex to pull eggs down off the side of the skillet. I was using a skillet with a good, non-stick coating. Not sure how it would perform in a non-coated pan.I'll add to this as I use it for more things--but I did purchase it primarily for omelettes and eggs.

Was NICHT meinen Erwartungen entsprach.
