Avocet Polished Gold Affinity Door Handles: Great Hardware
A really nice looking and well built piece of hardware. The only problem I had was that the doors in my house wre installed in 1991, and the mouting holes must have been using imperial measurements, as the mouting holes were offset by 5mm from that of any door handle I could find. This is not a criticism of hte door handes which were perfect for what we wanted, but I mentioned it to highlight to potential buyers to be careful to measure the mouting holes on their existing doors before purchase, (though in my case it made no difference, as I could not buy one that would fit anyway).

Excellent replacement - much better than the handles on the original handles of a composite door that cost over £1000!You will need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the old one and put the new one on. You might need a hacksaw to cut the spindle to fit. If you have a thumb turn you will need the correct size Allen key to get them off.

Good value for money
straight replacement and absolutely no issues with it. Although, the only thing wrong with my old handles was the spring insert. I have subsequently found that you can replace those inserts. Perfect as lets face it, the handles themselves don't exactly wear out.

Perfect replacement part
Bought 3 pairs of these handles to replace brass units. Fairly easy to fit, though I had to enlarge the bottom bolt hole in the door by about 3mm in order to fit. Otherwise a perfect replacement.

Quality replacement handle for my White UPVC back Door
Everything needed is in the package. Screws, spindles, etc. Fitted perfectly on my White UPVC back door without any trouble. Looks great and the action feels good and sturdy.

Great quality handle
Perfect, thank you. The screws were 5mm too long but the easy fix was to use the screws from the existing handle. Really good quality, would buy again.

The holes were in different place so could not even ...
The holes were in different place so could not even use it, I could not screw it in the door I had - it was supposedly a universal handle - looks exactly the same as the door handle at my home, but still the screws were not in right place, whether or not it was my door or the handle I am not sure..

Great product great price
Absolutely perfect fit. Looks and feels substantial. Fantastic price. After being sure that it would fit my damaged handle (it does) I have ordered a second in order to match the other door in my conservatory.
